Worried- pressure at 5 at trabeculectomy follow up today
Has anyone had to deal with low pressure after trabeculecyomy? I had the fourth of my weekly post- trabeculectomy follow ups today. The pressure was 5. Before the operation the pressure was consistently around 15. Week one after surgery it was 15, week two, 17 ( then stitch removed) Week 3 was 20. Stitch

Botox for Drooling with PD?
Hi, I've searched the site and didn't find anything on this, so forgive if its already been asked. HWP was placed on the atropine drops for drooling about 3 weeks ago, and no effect. His neurologist doc said if it didn't work , he could try botox injections. Has anyone done this, how did it work?

Post deep sclerectomy surgery recovery - severe fogginess causing severe worry and depression
(Posting on behalf of my dad) My dad, who is 80, had a deep sclerectomy on his right eye on 13 May. His left eye is already damaged and the right eye has some damage, but they did this to try and secure the sight in that eye. All seemed to be going well and he could get out and about in the couple

Incorrect Hospital Records
Hi, I’ve been having some problems with the respiratory team and requested a copy of my hospital records, which I’ve received. After going through them, there’s lots of information missing and details which are incorrect. I’m a severe asthmatic, and the consultant has now noted “no definitive diagnosis

Tezepelumab/Spirometry with Reversibility
Hi, hope everyone is managing well. I’m just looking to hear others experiences if possible. I’m quite complex and don’t show a high FeNO and spirometry is normal and my asthma is driven by neutrophils for inflammation. Best peak flow is 440, hovering around 220-350 - 220 is pre meds in the morning

Low IOP with Preserflo MicroShunt
I had a Preserflo MicroShunt inserted 16 days ago. At the appointment 7 days after the surgery the pressure was 6 and I had slight distortion to my peripheral vision. Atropine was prescribed as it can help with raising pressure but 9 days later I still have the visual distortions, so suspect the pressure

What A Birthday I Had !
I don't want to hijack dear cof drop's funny post and so it is time that I tell my friends what has been going on. 4 weeks ago I managed to see a GP. I told her that I had been having pains in my left upper chest and was quite breathless. I felt sure that it was not an exacerbation of bronch. She laughed

Trimbow eligibility??
ok so I’ll reply to you all on my other post shortly, thank you all for your support!! I was thinking of asking my GP to step down my Seretide from 125/25 to 50/25 because the steroid is definitely doing less for me than the long acting reliever. I was also going to ask to switch back from Atrovent

The joy of the unclear diagnosis 😂
This is a verrrry long post!! If anyone actually reads to the end you have my full respect I’m a returning member to the forum. I used to be active when I was being treated for severe asthma. I used to routinely end up in hospital for basic chest infections, and struggled with chest aching and tightness

Dopamine stress test
Hi I'm due to have a dopamine stress test on my heart in which I will be injected with dopamine to medically speed up my hr whilst I'm lying on the bed. I've also been told they could use atropine also. Has anyone else had this done and has anyone any advice. Thank you xx Michelle

Practical suggestions for PWP. Drooling. Runny nose.
For drooling you can use a few eyedrops that contain atropine, put 3-4 drops in a cup of water and swish it in your mouth then spit it out especially before bed if nighttime drooling is a problem. For runny nose put a couple drops of atropine eye drops on a q-tip and swab your nose. Hang tough...cheers

Dementia and drooling
I'm caring for my husband who has dementia. He has a problem with drooling . Doctor prescribed atropine drops under his tongue which I find hard to administrate . Sometimes these drops make him very drowsy maybe too many drops . He did have patches behind his ears but seemed to cause more confusion

Nebuliser
Advice desperately needed. Pulmonologist has taken me off revlar ellipta and incruse as he said it’s not getting into lungs and prescribed atrovent and pulmicort nebulisers. After 6 days I’m certainly no better and maybe worse. I’ve finished the antibiotics and weaning off prednisone. My question for

Life after TURP
Hi all I refer to previous post asking about TURP. I had my TURP in August and have not had any serious pain and the flow is much better. I still do not have full control of my bladder, with bending lifting and to some extent walking causing leakage which is contained very well with Tena 3 pads. I continue

Escaping!
Joke, not actually escaping, but hopefully going home in the next few days with an urgent follow up at Bart's as an outpatient (not inpatient, at least that's what I've understood). They're likely gonna send me home with a nebuliser though, so just wondering if there's anything I should be asking of

Adrenaline during asthma attacks
Anyone had this? How does it work? I had an adrenaline injection and the rest nebulised (along with hydrocortisone, magnesium, atrovent nebs, and salbutamol nebs) yesterday evening during a bad attack (silent parts of my chest again etc.). Not staying in any longer than needed being discharged today

Please help. How do I get rid of wheezing in my lungs after 3 long lung drainage sessions (including nasal sprays) a day? True, I have a cold. I have brochiectasis, sarcoidosis and lung fibrosis. The wheezing is really bothering me. Should I use my Atrovent inhaler more...would that help?
