This is a new request; Regarding treatment with
apomorphine
in the UK , I should like to know if any others have experienced bad side effects with poor support from Britannia Pharmaceuticals when cessation of the medication has been recommended.

PSP and Apomorphine
My father's neurologist has prescribed
apomorphine
injections for "off-periods" when my father's immobility gets bad. He has recently been diagnosed with PSP. Does anyone with PSP have any experience of this drug that they would be willing to share?

Apokyn Pump
I am due to be fitted with a pump for administering
Apomorphine
(ApoGo) but I am unsure about potential pitfalls & also the potential benefits. Is there anyone out there who has tried the pump? If so would you be prepared to share your experiences with me?

Possible MSA diagnosis?
He is currently on 3 days of anti sickness tablets and will then be on
Apomorphine
for 3 days to see whether this helps his symptoms. Has anyone else tried
Apomorphine
? He has been on a number of Parkinson's medications lastly being Sinimet but nothing relieved him.

Xadago (Safinamide)in UK.
Then he told me that Xadago would not help me anyway and told me I'd be better off exchanging my carefully worked out medication regime for 4
apomorphine
injections a day. Words fail!

APO Infusion Pump Giving Me Hope - More ON Time - would like to hear from others who have tried APO infusion.
I would love to hear from others who have tired or are using the
apomorphine
infusion pump. I started it almost 30 days ago in US drug trial. I have come off a lot of my other PD meds so not sure yet how I am going to feel when I level out and enter maintenance phase but I am very hopeful.

Apomorphine Injection
Recently, my Consultant has asked me if I would be prepared to try using an
Apomorphine
Injection and I was wondering whether anyone uses one as I know nothing about them? I would be really grateful for any comments before I make a decision. Many Thanks.

Anyone else get headaches when using the apomorphine pump apo-go
I've had a headache since Tuesday when I started the treatment. It was supposed to make me feel better during the off periods in my stalevo routine and reduce dosages. From experience does it get better like the sickness thing ?I can put up with it for a few more days then I suppose I have to give up

I wanted to share this infomation, made the pain thing a little more understandable for me
Sometimes subcutaneous injections of the dopaminergic
apomorphine
into the region of pain helps, sometimes not. How to Get Help The best person to guide you in your search for relief from a central pain is a pain specialist who consults with your PD specialist.

Can anyone share their experience of the apomorphine pump? It's been recommended that I give it a try
I don't know quite how I feel about it - is it cumbersome and intrusive? Are there problems with skin sensitivity? I watched my Dad hooked up to a home dialysis machine for 6 hours 3 times a week and though I can rationally equate that the pump is a lot smaller - I think I might resent being 'battery
