Hi I am a 41 year old female, and have had parkinsons since 8 years old. Im am going into hospital on 30th jan 2013 to try apomorphine but the 1 you inject yourself. I am quite excited about this as i find it extremely hard to get out of bred in the mornings. Can pass any info on after that if you want.

HI I was wondering how you are both getting on with your apomorphone. My dad just started it last week and it has been a rocky start. I would love to see how others have done on this.

Apomine pump i tried for about 10 days.,. With my partner being a long haul truck driver, it was just as hard for him to adapt to me having the pump.as it was for me to carry around, as im quite clumsy. Anyway i discussed being on the pump with linda (nero nurse), and my partner and we all agteed it wasnt fitting in with our lifestyle.

So i decided to do apomine injection, i have been on it for 2-3 weeks and i feel really positive about my decision, and it is really easy doesnt hurt a bit. The problem for me is trying not to rely on it all the time, and loading the syringe so we draw 2 up per day. im not sure what else you would like to askbut feel free to ask anything.

I see this post is four (4) years old but I am intersted in talking to anyone who has been or is on apomorphine infusion pump. Started 30 days ago with drug trial in US.
