To all of you
I asked my oncologist if it was so small how did it get in my lympnodes. He said that
adenocarcinoma
is slow growing but its very aggresive. I can't even begin to remember how many cancer cells were in that little tumor I would guess thousands upon thousands and more.

It is this target group that we are most concerned about because we know that 70% of the oesophageal cancer cases in the UK involve
adenocarcinoma
that is often associated with long-term unresolved reflux and the precursor condition Barrett's Oesophagus.

Reclaiming my life. Where the process began.
CT, PET and biopsy confirmed that it was stage 4
adenocarcinoma
with mets to rt lung and liver. I had lost 50 lbs but I had been on a diet for a year and that did not seem excessive although I was tired all the time.

My Story
I was diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell
adenocarcinoma
of my lung in December of 2014 . The EGFR was exon 21, P.L 858R. I was diagnosed by going into cardiac tamponade with 870 ml of fluid. The fluid tested positive for the cancer and mutation.

Introduction
Sadly it is stage 4
Adenocarcinoma
which has spread to the liver and lymph nodes. They wish to start chemo in about 10 days which will be 4 hours at hospital for 2 drugs via IV once every 3 weeks and then tablets to take twice a day in between.
