Approx. 20% of Sweet's syndrome (SS) patients develop their condition secondary to cancer, the commonest being a group of blood disorders called myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukaemia (MDS can progress to AML).

If you are in the UK and have MDS, please join 'MDS UK Patient Support'. This charity is an invaluable source of support. mdspatientsupport.org.uk/
