Hi,
You could use a door frame. Place your hands on either side of the door frame, hang back with your arms straight and pull yourself up.

I'm using a ladder type towel rail. We have disability friendly width doors here with period frames and I don't think my grip or reach would cope (yet?) - at any rate I would think it would make for a very different exercise. The exercises are a doddle compared with the challenge of finding suitable props! Do you have a fence outside you could use just for this bit?
