I started walking and a friend asked me to join her for a run. I didn't think I could since I haven't run in about 15 years. To my surprise, I could do it and I felt GREAT. Yes, my knees hurt the next two days but that's ok. I ran again about 5 days later. Gonna keep it up.

Great job Czolli 3003! You could also consider interval running---run for a few minutes, walk for a few minutes, then run again. This is a great way to train for those who are not "runners" and build up your endurance. This is also easier on your knees!

Remember to stretch before and after running - really keeps you from getting sore! Great job
