The symptoms of Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) and orthostatic hypotension can be very similar.

Orthostatic hypotension Is a sudden drop in blood pressure when an individual stands up. You may feel dizzy and lightheaded and may faint. Symptoms of PoTS are also usually triggered by moving into a standing upright position.
