Frequent Blackouts

My daughter has a blackout about once a day. She fell and hit her head and neck about 7 weeks ago (significant and long-lasting swelling on cervical spine C6/C7) and then 5 weeks later started to suffer from blackouts. She has sustained multiple cuts and bruises as a result of falling over on paths, down stairs and in the bath. No noted issues following blood, urine, blood pressure, CT scan, X-Ray, MRI etc. We are at our wits end and unable to protect our 24 year old from further injury. Don’t know who could help?

Has she seen a cardiologist to check for neurocardiogenic syncope? I've just replied on a different post and understand how scary it is. Faints (if thats what they are) could be triggered by stress/worry. X

Hello Clare66

She has had a 24hr heart monitor but has not acyually seen a cardiologist yet. The heart monitor suggested no abnormality. We have recently found out that Blackout Clinics exist and have secured a referral to one locally. They seem to be supported by a cardiologist and a neurologist so we hope they can help. Thank you for the advice.
