I'm retiring in 3 days. Nervous that lack of structure will cause less exercise and binge eating. Have plans to stay busy, but have fallen short in past. Tendency to be lazy, procrastinate, self-defeatism, etc., etc., etc.

Dear Retiring,

Congratulations on this new phase of your life! As you seem to do better with structure can you find a group to interact with that is active---like a group at your local YMCA? Many of us have tendencies to procrastinate :-)....so you are not alone. What is great is that you recognize how important it is for you to KEEP MOVING!

Your 2018 can be terrific!

Keep us posted on your progress!

Welcome to the club! I retired in April of 17 and have been so busy I wonder how I worked so many years. My routine is fun and includes a lot of exercise and enjoyment with friends and family. Am able to participate in the grand kids events which I was not able to before. You will find that your time will be filled with happiness.
