Can mixed connective tissue be cured?

Do you mean can a connective tissue disease be cured? Not as far as I've heard. There are places that have had wonderful results in different types of disorders, here is one you can check out. rctherapy.net Dr. Hans Truesdell, out of AZ. is working with patients and having success. His number is on the website. I have spoke to him, I just can't afford the process, plus I've had this for 14 years. A newer patient would see better results. My connective tissue is completely gone in my wrists & fingers!

No, there is no cure. We need much more research for that and funding for the research. But there is a lot that can be done to control it some extend.

No, there is no "cure". The closest is stem cell therapy, but you would need to be at the end of the rope for this. There are many good medicines that keep the progression in check, such as Tracleer and Rivatio. Each person seems to have a different journey. Go to the Scleroderma Foundation website for excellent information on the different variations of Scleroderma. A positive attitude is a must. This is NOT a curse, just simply your journey through life.
