Does anyone know much about bosentan? Have read about it on internet but my consultant says it is still on trial.

It is supposed to help prevent/heal ulcers. I have been taking it for about a month now after my consultant fought my health authority for it as it is very expensive and only prescribed in extreme cases. They agreed on a 10 month course with a review after 6 months, Prob early days yet as I had to increase the dose gradually with regular blood tests too, but still no improvement (maybe even worse up to now). Still, I guess I need to wait longer to give it time to work, if it does!!
Fingers crossed that it does work for you. Do you know why regular blood tests?Any ideas on side effects? Please keep us posted on how you do
