I was just wondering if a connection between Raynaud's and angina is possible? I have both as well as reflux disease and bowel problems.
Hi Bernie,
I have R & S and have reflex and severe bowel problems, I do not have angina but do have a sclerodermic lung with breathlessness and slight breathing difficulties, especially in times of stress. Elaine 3
Has your angina been diagnosed as such? I have Raynaud's, Scleroderma, reflux, a lot of trouble with my bowels and my legs. I have an echocardiogram once a year and a breathing test. This year it was discovered that I have patches on my pericardium of scleroderma origin. To answer your question, I don't know if angina is related or not.
thanks for that. I have been diagnosed with angina and I have heart surgery ie a bye pass operation. This was done feb 24 2011 but I have just learned that the grafts especially one is blocked again this all happened with in a space of 8 weeks. I have never been told that I have Scleroderma but I keep asking doctors and consultants if my failure could be due to this or indeed my Raynaud's they seem to think not. \i have also had a lumber sympathectomy
Have you seen a rheumatologist?
You have the right to be referred if you want and still keep contact with your cardiology experts.
Bet wishes.
