I am struggling a little and wondered how everyone else has experienced menopause with this disease. Especially differentiating between symptoms of menopause & symptoms of the disease…. Any guidance, advice or insight gratefully received and appreciated.
I hope you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves

I know exactly what you means about differentiating and it is difficult, I found out 2 years ago at 54 that I am also suffering from endometriosis and other cervical, ovarian problems which in turn affecting my bowels and I also have a rectocele, I am awaiting a Hysterectomy and endometriosis treatment but due to other issues this hasn’t happened yet. I think generally whether menopausal or not it is difficult to know if any of our symptoms are related to Systemic sclerosis or can be attributed to other things.
I like you ,turn to this forum and ask for any guidance ,someone can usually help or as been through the same thing. I unfortunately am like you in that I am in a similar position as you going through menopause.
Other than that I go to my GP and hope they can help point me in the right direction and if not I seek advice from the Gynaecologist or Rheumatologist .
It’s can be very difficult, sorry I can’t help, but can sympathise.
