Does using Flax seeds change the skin and improve facial appearance in scleroderma?

How are you using the flax seeds? Are you ingesting them or using them in a facial treatment?

Ingesting them by soaking the seeds overnight. Sometimes also taking ground seeds mixed with water. I recently tried putting the gel on face once. How do you use it? Does it actually help?Thanks
