So I’ve asked before about Fluoxetine as treatment for my raynauds I’ve been told it’s extreme primary although they haven’t ruled out secondary. I’m anxious of taking drugs and wondered what experience anyone has had with fluoxetine. Effectiveness, side effects and is alcohol ok?
Thanks all

I was prescribed Fluoxetine for Raynauds but after a couple of doses I experienced heart irregularities so stopped it. The irregular heart beat went away within 24 hours so I’m pretty sure the fluoxetine was the cause. It is a commonly prescribed drug for depression so many people take it without problems
Hello I take it daily and the main side effect is that it wakes you up so best to take it before noon. I also lost a little weight but not sure if that's related, so it depends on if that's a good thing or bad thing for you! It seems to help with Raynaud's as I have fewer attacks and rarely need to wear double gloves outside!
