minocycline

hi all, has anyone being prescribed minocycline for calcinosis cutis, they have bad side effects which im not looking forward to t, starting monday, wish me look.

Side effects of medication don’t affect everyone so let’s hope you’re one of the lucky ones and you aren’t affected at all

I for one will be very interested to hear how you get on and if it makes any difference to the calcinosis! Keep us updated please. Perhaps you should take pictures beforehand and keep using them as a reference point?!All my best

Hi!

Hope you're doing better. I have diffuse scleroderma and also have the same problem with calcinosis. After 1 year, do you think the treatment with minocycline went well? I use mtx, but I don't think it is helping.
