Hi all, does anybody know if the warning letters apply to Wales. I have systemic sclerosis and ild but no letter yet
wales: Hi all, does anybody know if the... - Scleroderma & Ray...
wales
Hi there, I would assume that if you are taking medication to support your immune system and have ILD you would be high risk. I don't see why Wales should be any different , so I would contact your Consultant/GP. Meanwhile I would definitely self isolate. Hope you get it sorted and stay well.
I'm sure Boris Johnson said they were writing to 1.5 million in England but I believe it will be the same in Wales. I contacted my consultant and my GP as I have Systemic Sclerosis with ILD and I'm on immunospressents and my lungs are already down to 44% capicity but I have not received any texts or letters My GPs receptionist and my consultants receptionist have both said they don't know anything about it. No one seems to know anything it seems
They are being sent via gp’s they have been sent the template letters and have been advised to send to all there high risk patients I haven’t had one yet either
There is a ‘risk’ criteria on the SRUK website. It is a score out of 3. As far as it looks to me (with limited scleroderma , no known organ impacts and on Mycophenolate), I score 1 which means social distancing rather than 3 months full isolation. I work in a GP surgery, but not front line, and am still a bit concerned re the risk. Has anyone else looked at this and have I interpreted it correctly please? Thanks.
Hi all, thank you for your replies. I will try and contact my surgery for clarification. Stay well
