Possibly?!? An X-ray will tell you, or if it starts coming to the surface and coming out. They won't do anything unless it is actually causing a significant problem, and then the only option is surgical removal...which is not great in that area, and because it causes trauma to the tissues is likely to stimulate more calcinosis production than if it is left well alone.
