Dry lips

My lips get very dry and tight. I’ve tried so many different moisturisers but nothing really lasts. Has anyone found a good product to recommend.

I use Vaseline at night and Burt's Bee's during the day. I have to keep applying it as my lips are so dry. Also I drink a lot of water to keep hydrated. Hope this helps.

Thanks I will try Burt’s Bee’s.

I use a bit of sugar and honey, in a paste type consistency and use it as a scrub then apply an oil after.. it helps with me... but I also feel so thirsty all the time so I brought a 2l bottle from newlook.. of course it had to have unicorns all over it.. but drinking often is helping and cutting down on caffeine and salt.. hope that helps?

Hi, I use Vaseline on my lips at least twice a day and always before bed. I find it very effective. If the skin "outside" of my lips also tightens up, I put extra vaseline all around my mouth. This works best at night so you are not aware of it. If I don't want to get teased by my husband I tell him as well, otherwise there are a lot of cheeky comments from his side of the bed !!! :O) :O) :O) BTW he likes Burt's Bee's after he's been gardening in our lovely UK Weather.

Another thought is to change what you use - like Jmrose who uses Vaseline and Burt's Bee's - I have noticed that my skin likes me to occasionally use something different.

Thanks for your help

Vitamin e oil helps your complexion and heals chapped lips. Take care of yourself.

Thanks I will give it a try

Make sure you get the tiny bottle with the thick vitamin e oil. Many grocery stores sell it or you can get it at Rite Aid or other pharmacy. It heals quickly, and also helps with dry hands and fingernails.
