thanx i will keep moisturising ,see how the twitching veins go .ty

Hi, some months back I had nerve?muscel twitching in mainly below knee legs. The gp said it wouldnt kill me (ha ha) it was age and would have to put up with it. Needless to say I had to take over. Made sure food intake covered all minerals protein fats etc., Condition ok now thank goodness. Age indeed, he just couldnt be bothered. This worked for me , maybe you need more investigation. bye.

itchy legs capital YES!!!!! i honestly dont understand why it does it, but its in a strange way good to see so many others have it to it doesnt make me feel so odd.

I use eurax anti itch cream and aqueas cream and often i put large dressings over the broken parts of skin where i have been scratching so much so they can heal.

as for jumping veins not experienced that myself.

Hi. I do get itchy legs (and arms!) I find keeping them well moisturised is the best way to deal with it and I put cream on every day.

But I wonder whether you're describing what I think of as 'restless legs', which I also get? I get an urge to move my legs and/or walk around and the sensation can get unbearable. Very weird, but if that's what you've been getting I haven't found anything that helps other than changing position or sometimes putting pressure on the leg that has the troublesome sensation.

I've asked my rheumatologist whether this is connected to the Raynaud's (I have scleroderma) and the answer has always been 'no', but I still wonder whether there is a link.

Yes I used moituriser. Could actually see the twitching of nerves or whatever it was. At least my husband (R.I.P) could then understand when I said legs twitching or jumping. Not troublesome at moment thankgoodness.

Hi, I have itchy arms and legs and take anti allergy tablet to calm it down, this isn't prescribed by the way. Your jumpy feet could be caused by "St Vitus Dance", it is a series of jerky movements impulsed through the central nervous system. Your rheumatologist should be able to help you with this, not sure what the help is for it, but wishing you good luck.

Hi,

Yes I have itchy legs, in the past it was due to varicose eczema. Now I get very itchy skin in the cold weather, my skin lets me know when there is a frost, even when I am indoors in the warmth. When I go out in the cold my skin prickles on my face and my neck itches.Years ago I was out walking in freezing fog, my neck started to itch, eventually my neck looked like it had been scalded and then the skin started to peel, I felt I needed to exfoliate due to the dryness? Was unbearable to go out in the cold until my skin had recovered. On visiting the doctors, she said she hadn't seen anything like it before. Regards Jax.

Hi Suzierwp330 hope you are feeling ok. Yeah I get itchy legs and feet like spiders are crawling on me and I also get pins and needles not very pleasant but that is what we have to go through with these medical disabilities.
