Hello there, Nifdipine improves the circulation to the periphery. Better blood supply means the skin is better nourished, but it will not improve extremely dry skin, you still need to look after your hands really well and moisturise them constantly to prevent the dry skin breaking down and causing cracks. If you have a significant problem I would ask the GP for some strong emollient products to help you. Barrier creams to wash your hands with and protect them with after are a good idea. Standard advice about keeping your hands dry and warm with effective gloves, not exposing them to extreme hot or cold. keeping your core body warm by wearing thermal layers so the heart can through the heat out to the hands and feet etc etc

All my best

Lucy x
