ive just ordered from ebay 4 mini hot water bottles that can go in your pockets-i await their delivery and see how they are-you could maye make a little cover to go over them so that that dont burn a childs hand and attach them somehow to the gloves??

Them mini water bottles don't really stay warm for long I bought some and although u can re heat them I wouldn't recommend then my self. And was ur r lad. Must be so hard for him and ur self. I am 43 and gave only had this fir nearly 2 years and can't stand it. So how it just be to. Control it fir u just be so hard. I use disposable hand warmers which stay warm the full 8 hours as stated iv tried many but the only ones I found to work for the longest and r softer than the rest to keep in ur hand r made by boyztoys. I got them from a pound shop but only to never see them again. So I googled it and found there own web site. I now buy them in boxes as I think the site is really for stores to buy from. But there well worth the money 2 in each packet fir I think about 75p. Which I find a reasonable price to keep warm Hope u manage to sort sum thing out x good luck
Thank you tina yh it is very hard last year he was really bad so im in a bitof a panic this year the ddoctors av told me to hunt dwn heated gloves but no were dose thm for kids so fustratein I had them wen I was a chil so some were must do thm ive applyed to see my nots frm the hospital that I went to when I was younger so I can see where the y got minw from thanks for your advise ill have a look last thing I want is for him to loose fingers its abit easyer for me as I can controls it take care xx
I no its always best to have things in ready for his need. Even threw summer I use the hand warmers. I'm never with out them to be honest. Hood luck on finding gloves for him also. X
The RSA has in the past investigated this but although we managed to get a pair made specially (the company is no longer in existence) they were very expensive and not suitable for a two year old. She wouldn't keep them on and the wires were difficult to cope with. There are more suitable heating aids for children. Take a look at the RSA website online shop or call the RSA on 01270 872776 for more information on the products. They also have a free leaflet on Raynaud's in Youngsters.

My daughter has had this since she was four so I feel for you. We use heat holders hand warmers. you can get on ebay.
Also silk is very good. Not sure if you can get silk glove liners but long johns and long sleeve vests are good. very expensive so we just buy one of each. Also invest in best u can afford so coats, gloves etc from Jack Wolfskin or a ski shop massively better than high street stores. Silver gloves or socks did not help at all, for us anyway. We use heat holder socks and if you can afford Uggs even second hand are great. We also use lots of microwave teddies, boots etc in the house.
Lots of layers but not cotton next to skin.
