My sleep story

I seem to struggle with sleep off and on. When I am overthinking, hurting, anxious, or stressed it is harder for me to sleep. I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep but most often I am plagued by waking up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep. My most recent issue is sleeping after toe surgery with a walking boot on. It's not just the boot but keeping it elevated, no blanket pressure, and keeping my foot at the right temperature. I have tried many different positions, pillows, and medications. I can't seem to find the right mix that works night after night.

I am hoping this season passes quickly.
