New mole on scalp

I have no idea how long it has been there. My granddaughter noticed it yesterday when we were playing hairdressers. I've made a GP appointment but it's a fortnight away. I've had a BCC on my face, am pale and freckly and burn easily. Does it look like a cancery thing to you guys? TIA.

Hi there, you have done the right thing in making an appointment with the GP and make sure you give them all the information about previous BCC’s you have had and any family history. Please let us know how your get on and take the photos with you and they may want to send them on if you get referred.

Good luck! Team Skcin

Thanks. GP saw the pic, rang and saw me today. Gave me a fast-track appointment to dermatology for suspected melanoma.

Edit: 2 weeks have passed. The fast-track booking system is only up to those who were referred on March 1st. Plain old covid delay.
