Hi! I have just been diagnosed with skin pre-cancer and told to shield myself from the sun. I would like to get some clothing that blocks UV rays (e.g. long sleeved T shirts) but do not know where to go for this. On Amazon some items are described as UV blocking but can these descriptions be trusted? Is there some sort of authentication for these claims or is there a trusted supplier of such clothing? Also, can thick clothing e.g. a broad-rimmed felt hat be assumed to block UV rays? Sorry to be so naive!
