2pound piece round reddish thing

Hi there. I wonder if anybody can help me I have had a round blemish reddish with crusty bits which seem to have worse since I had a biopsy on it 3 weeks ago. It's very itchy since I had the stiches out.i am so scared of the results which I have got yet, I have had this reddish patch of skin for years and years and just thought it was a blemish. Until the dermatolgist recommended having it looked at. I thought no news was good news but somebody on here waited a month to be told it was malignant.
