So I have lozenges and spray prescribed for my mouth, but what does everyone else use on their lips?
I have over the years purchased every single balm, cream, lotion, potion known to man, and never found one yet that works.
Every now and then I find one that seems to work well for the first few days, and then just as I am about to have nice, smooth lips for the first time ever, it seems I get used to the potion and it stops working, and I go back to the dry sore lips again 😒

Whatever you use just be aware that balms that don’t contain sun screen magnify the sun’s rays and can cause a premalignant condition. This in turn can be the cause of invasive squamous cell carcinoma - the kind that leads to oral cancer. I know this because it’s happened to me.
My lips look dry and very chapped but actually it’s the condition itself.
Hello, I've had the same problem due to Sjogrens and have tried everything. I use Eucerin face cream 5% urea which I get on prescription for dry skin which really helps. I am now using Eucerin Aquaphor skin balm on my lips throughout the day and last thing at night and it has helped enormously with the dryness. I bought it from Amazon as it's not easy to find in the chemists.
Nivea lip balm. I have one in the pocket of every coat, one under my pillow for nighttime, one in the bathroom, i’m in my pen cup on my desk and one in my pen cup next to my favourite upholstered chair, et cetera.
I are you question focused on the lips but I thought I’d mention:
Also, at night next to the one under my pillow I have some “Biotene dry mouth oral balance saliva replacement gel”. For inside my mouth near my bed I also keep “Biotene Oral Rinse”; I just put a few drops in my mouth a few times during the night just to thinly coat the inside of my mouth. Obviously it doesn’t last all night but it soothes and helps.
