The uk thyroid support group recommended you. I have had an under active thyroid since January and today been told I also have Sjögren's Syndrome and wondered if this mean things like coughs and colds or infections are going to be harder to get rid off? Any info would be great, thanks x

With the colds and flue it is critical you keep your vitamin levels up with a compromised immune system not only will you get them easily but they can start your immune system attacking your organs or nervous system, so you need vitamin c horseradish and garlic in the winter and you need a good grape seed tablet at least 2,000 mg a day a good probiotic powder, hope this is helpful

I would like to say hello to everyone.

I have been diagnosed with Sjogrens for about a year now. It took over 3 years to get a proper diagnosis. I am under a Rheumatologist now and i am on Plaqanil for the joint pain and fatigue. I find the fatigue the hardest symptom to deal with. I work full time and had a terrible year with viruses, i was off work a few times with bad flu's that took a long time to get rid of. I find this stressful as i worry about the time off work but what can you do. I feel that is shouldn't complain as my daughter has Rhuematoid arthritis and is under Dr Shenstone at Concord Hospital. She is only 21.

Thanks for the support it is great.
