I have an appointment coming up for an ultrasound of salivary glands.has anyone ha done and what does it involve please?

It is painless. I had it a year ago and it involved an ultra sound instrument moved over side of your face ( felt like the back of a cold spoon on my skin) It didn’t seem to take very long.

It was a bit uncomfortable, but i had alot of swelling at the time . The scan did show up some damage but i massage my face when I feel swelling increasing and this helps . Best wishes 🌸

I had my ultrasound at last on Wednesday as it had been rearranged due to covid, it went fine and while doing the ultrasound the sonographer asked me how long I've had a dry mouth, so I'm wondering is something showed.I didn't think to ask. Hopefully I won't wait too omg for the results.
