Hi Weathervane. You're stuck with me again sorry! My IgG and IgA levels were both elevated back in June when my ANA was high. It was the high plasma Viscocity/ ESR, CRP, ANA and IgG that apparently led my rheumy to request my lip biopsy. I therefore conclude it must be a Sjogren's thing. I know that someone on NRAS HU posted about their IgG level being too low - possibly because of Rituximab and methotrexate. But I think having high immune responses is probably a sign that things aren't properly controlled for either of us. Or could just be a fact of Sjogren's of course?

Snap - but my youngest moved into a flat in Glasgow at the start of summer so we've been getting lots of visitors including him - but this isn't where he grew up so isn't home. He loves Glasgow to bits - has a job as a waiter for events and tends the champagne bar. When uni reconvenes next week he won't have time to do paid work though. He will be going abroad to study for the next two years which will be so hard! I have to hope that oldest, currently working in Sydney, comes back by then. Middle son at Stirling uni just starting his 3rd year so we have one close by until we go back up to Orkney next week!

I phoned the hospital to ask for results. CT results are on rheumy's desk for him to look at when he returns from annual leave on Monday. His secretary was really nice and said if anything requiring immediate action had shown up then the radiologist would have alerted one of his colleagues so this is very reassuring at least.

MRI of brain not on his desk yet so not out of woods yet but I explained that we go north end of next week and she promised she would tell him so he can contact me by phone if anything needs to be discussed. Whew! X

I don't suppose he'll get in touch with me on Monday as his desk will be very full no doubt. But I'm cheered that it is sitting on his desk at least! Have a good holiday - packing up to move all next week so shouldn't be allowed near the iPad really! X
