Has anyone else ever experienced back pain with Sjorgens Syndrome? It's in my lower left side and came on suddenly. Could it be Kidney related!?

I've had Sjogren's for over thirty years and the back pain has increased year by year. I'm sure some of it is part of the aging process but most, I think, is down to tired, dry vertebrae and weakened supporting muscles.

I get kidney pain if I take too many pain killers - but that's quite a different kind of pain.

I am not sure - I would talk it over with the Dr. treating your Sjogrens. I have low back problems from Sponglylitis and Fibromyalgia affecting the muscles that give support to the spine. Sjogrens or what ever is causing the problem should be checked out - better safe than sorry - Diane ;-)
