Another question about pin-on style cloth diapers and plastic pants

I have another question about pin-on cloth diapers and plastic pants for my article. I was wondering if people used prefold style pin-on cloth diapers covered with plastic pants in the 50's, 60's, and 70's to manage their bedwetting.
