I have had pain in my legs since I was a child and all the doctors said was that.... it's from her being so active.... I have sickle cell trait and thalassemia, is it possible that I could be experiencing this pain due to me having the trait? It's not everyday but it does happen where it is debilitating at times.

I don't know, but I am sorry you are going through this pain. Maybe you should seek a second opinion. Not enough is known about the trait and even the full blown disease for any doctor to make absolutes.

Try to see when the pain is worse so maybe you can work out your triggers. The best expert of your body is you. I hope you feel better.
