am 52 with SS. Long-standing sleeplessness has been a problem. Anyone with suggestions on drugless remedies?

I am the same but have SC the longest I have gone without sleep or nap or doze is 13 days. Even with my sleeping tablets I get 3hrs 15 mins of restless sleep. Without it I sleep for 7/15/20/30/45/50 minutes and get up and go to work. So if you get a reply with some answers please share with me. I will be 44 and need to start sleeping. I bought a Fitbit which is monitoring my sleep very well so I can show my problem to the medics. Am amazed by the information and how bad my sleep is. But it is giving me wrist pain so I have to return it.

I have tried Nytol 50mg tablets once or twice and they have helped me relax and sleep. Also I know another sickler that uses it often. You can get them in Boots. Hope these work for you.

These are great tips in here, and definitely see if you can show your doctor how your sleeping pattern is looking!

Maybe try some Lavender along with any of the other suggestions. Lavender has been known to help relax people. you can inhale it it mix some lavender oil drops in some very warm water with Epsom salts. The magnesioum in Epsom salts and the lavender together can help your body to relax. I hope that this can help.

Nytol always helps me sleep at night, it's over the counter at booths, but they always say it's only for short term use.
