End of life advice and ovarian cancer.
Hi Barbie85, my heart goes out to you. This is news that none of us want to hear. Unfortunately many of us ladies will get the news about no more treatments will help us. Physically, you will find much support from palliative care team and hospice. I live in the U.S. and you probably have similar help where you live. I’m not sure where you live. These organizations can help you stay comfortable if you suffer from pain. Mentally, friends and family can offer support. I am a Christian and believe that the Lord will never give you more than you have to endure. That is my comfort in life and death that I belong to my faithful Saviour. One of my thoughts is because He lives, I can face tomorrow. I am sending you a hug and a prayer that you will find comfort in your last days of life. Bless your heart, Donna
Hi Barbie I am sending you love and hugs and prayers at this difficult time for you. God is in charge and control of EVERYTHING. Having faith in a higher power helps me to get through difficult times. I believe it can help you too. Palliative care is good for pain management also. You're in my prayers for comfort and peace
Oh Barbie85 I’m so sorry you’re coming to the end of your time here. Like the other ladies I too have faith and there’s a large part of me that is looking forward to being in paradise. I feel sad to be leaving loved ones but know i will see them again.Palliative care in the UK is excellent. Such caring and wonderful support is available through Macmillan etc. I also follow some hospice nurses on Instagram who tell some amazing stories of beautiful end of life experiences that dying people have had. Many of them seeing departed loved ones and pets and actually dying with great joy and peace.
Death is not the end, Jesus defeated death on the cross.
You are in our prayers and I pray you feel Gods love and peace.

Dear Barbie85, I am very close to the same situation, 4 years, and my name is Barbara also. I live in US, and not much support since sons live far away and husband thinks I'm going to live forever. In reality, when the time comes, I will definitely want hospice. I had palliative care 4 years ago, but found it ( or her) not very comforting. God will take care of you. 🙏🙏🙏.
Hi. I am so sorry to hear this... I have no faith based responses, but more about living. Identify things that you want to do and DO THEM! While we can't change the end, we CAN choose the path of the journey-- I rewarded myself throughout my treatment by doing things that I had alway wanted to do--I have zero regrets for doing that. My very best to you...

May the God of all comfort carry you through this season of your life. Everyone has to face the end of life here. It comforts me to remember that I will be going from life to life. Death of our physical bodies is just a part of the human experience. My prayer is that you will believe that Jesus opened the gates of heaven so we can live forever in paradise. Looking forward to leaving this sick body! I want to run and dance again! I have so much hope in heaven. God bless you, dear Barbara.
