463.3 Ca125 is this beatable?

Hi there, I'm not the patient but i'm the caregiver. My Mother was diagnosed with stage 1 in 2017 and after 6 rounds of carbo/taxol it went to the liver and she became stage 4. We went for alternative treatment and almost had it beat. Then something happened and mom went off all the supplements. Now she's had a stroke and we just got her Ca125 back and it's 463.3. The last time in March she had a testing done her CEA was only 0.5 and the other marker was a 41. Now it's exploded to 463.3. Has anyone had it this high? Is it still beatable?

My CA 125 was 700 before surgery and chemo. It stays between 8-11 now. I do take some supplements. Inflammation can affect CA 125 too.

Did she have avastin as part of her chemo? It really dropped my ca125. Don’t give up hope. There are still many meds out there that can help.

She has not had avastin yet. She had a stroke last Sunday from the abdominal fluid causing blood clots. She is still currently recovering from it. Hoping to be released within the next week though. Is avastin very harsh? Did you lose your hair? I’m going to have a hard time getting her to do chemo again since the last time was rough. When they removed her port the first time it broke in half and fell into her heart and then she had to go it is “fished” out. Thank you for your response. I can’t tell you how better I feel after finding this community

I lost my hair with the Carbo Taxol. I did well with the Avastin. They may put her on an oral chemo. She has really been through the ringer. I pray for positive things to start to happen for her and for you 💜

Also, I’m surprised they removed her port. I still have mine in and it’s been 2 years. I have a friend who has had hers for 5 years which is too long.

They removed it because we were doing so wonderful on Mexico that we wouldn’t need the IV chemo. She was just doing the oral pills there. Then she got too creative and started doing a cleanse back at home and went off all her supplements form Mexico for about 5-6 weeks and that gave the cancer just enough to go crazy.

I was diagnosed in 2017 with stage 3 with severe carsoma. Overian. My c125 4500. I am still here. Yes I believe it is beatable. Today my c125 is at 13. You have to be diligent in taking supplements daily. Infection can cause a rise in c125. Maybe the stroke has something to do with it. I use a natural cbd oil. It contains very little thc. I believe this has helped save my life as well as my faith in God. Best of luck to you and your mom
