My Letrozole fell into the freezer ...

for a day or two before I realized. I know it says not to freeze, but does anyone know if it's still any good or not? I really don't want to bother with getting it replaced as I still have two month's worth left .... thanks for any knowledge you may have concerning this! For those who are curious (like me lol); the bottle was atop the fridge in front of a picture and frame that fell over and kicked the bottle into the top bin of the freezer when it was opened. this is the only thing I can come up with as the picture was laying flat on it's back, when it had been standing up on the fridge top. Remember, in the US our freezers are on top for the most part. Hope someone gets a laugh out of this! <3 xo

Thanks for the light chuckle, we are still human! A pharmacist could probably help you determine if it is still good, but I would think your Onc could easily order you another bottle as its not a controlled substance. Your insurance may not pay for the extra refill but the stuff is pretty cheap now that its gone generic.

Might want to call the manufacturer or FDA. Extreme temperatures can degrade some drugs. Blessing, Hannah

I honestly do not know. Call the pharmacist. I’ve never heard anything about it being refrigerated. I’m so sorry I couldn’t of been more help, but a pharmacist will know. Good luck.
