My oncologist told me today he was delighted! My scan is stable and my blood results are stable, not that he gave me the numbers. I'll have to wait for Thursday's bone treatment for that. I had been quite anxious as they slotted in an extra scan and said the mediastinal nodes were enlarged last time. So this is all good news! Next week I'm off to Inverness to meet my partner on the mainland for spot of house hunting. Does anyone on here know which hospitals in Scotland are good for us,as my partner is keen we live near a good hospital as his first priority!

So happy for you!
Congrats and the great results and best of luck house hunting! Your partner sounds like a keeper 😉
I ditto bracelets1's comments above. Your partner's interest in a good nearby hospital suggests that he is concerned about your treatment. I'm glad you two found each other! Congratulations on all your good news!

Happy to hear your good news! If it’s a cancer hospital you are looking for then it’s The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow but if you are looking for a general hospital then the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital also in Glasgow is for you. It’s a very modern hospital as it was recently built.
It was a good cancer centre I was looking for. Do you know anything about the Raigmore in Inverness?
Im sorry I am not familiar with hospitals outside of Glasgow. My children live in Glasgow and a friend of ours who has had cervical cancer with mets since 2012 has spoken highly of Beatson Cancer Centre.
celebrate you and the news! may you enJOY house hunting.
