My wife is about to start Troldevy, assuming she's approved, it's quite new for triple negative in the UK. We are keen to hear anyone's experience with this, if you could share (good and bad), we'd be very grateful. We are aware this is her 4th line treatment so we are running out of options.
Lots of love and hugs to you ALL!

Dear LeoI am sorry Susie had progression with Xeloda, I just stopped it a month ago as I have 2 "new' tumors on my liver. I am sorry I don't know much about triple negative but I have a friend here in Utah who has triple negative MBC so I will ask her and let you know. Sending Susie a virtual hug. Wishing the best for you and your family.
Hi Leo and SusieI started Trodelvy a couple of weeks ago. But i wasn't able to have my Day 8 infusion because i ended up in hospital with pleural effusion and had to have my lung drained. i hasten to add it wasn't a severe side effect of the Trodelvy but something i was obviously brewing before i started.
I'm also on my 4th line of chemo. My oncologist moved me from EC because my mets in the lung were showing progress. I will have my Day 8 tomorrow.
The first infusion was tiring and i slept my way through most of it. I am also cold capping so all in all I was in hospital for 5.5 hours. Its difficult to say what my experience of it has been so far as i experienced breathlessness pretty much the next day and so any other side effects were masked by this.
I'll let you know how i get on after tomorrow.
Good luck with the Trodelvy and i hope its approved for Susie - my oncologist is quite excited by it.
