Ibrance and eating

Hi ladies,

I read here on several occasions that it's best to take ibrance with a meal.

But why? Is it more effective? Or is it because it avoids secondary effects?

Lucie, I take it with food because of my stomach issues. Most meds give me nausea, but with food I don't have a problem.

I was in the older capsule version of Ibrance in Nz and that came with instructions to take with food. When I got to USA, I had to transition to the newer tablet form and was told it was better as it didn’t need I be taken with food.

Taking Ibrance with food, especially some fat, reduces stomach upset and nausea.

Yes its's just supposed to help avoid any stomach issues.
