Hi there! I've had a couple of paracentesis and each was around 4 weeks apart. I found the procedure to be quick and easy aside from having to do it at the hospital. I'm sorry you dealing with this and wish you all the best. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Take Care! Suzanne

Yes, Suzanne, I have had three so far. this week I am hoping for another drain and my liver biopsy.

I am so miserable and weak and eating virtually nothing. I can't go on with this much longer. Now my tumors on my ribs hurt like hell. I'll try a pain patch tonightThank you for your concern and thoughts

So sorry Bonnie. That's really awful. I hope the pain patch works. I hope you are going to Palliative Care you deserve to be more comfortable I rtable. A paracentesis can help your symptoms the sickening truth is that often the fluid will build back up. I hope you get relief soon. ❤🙏❤

Hello. I have had 4. They have been around 2 weeks apart. Eating is tough with all the fluid but I think it helps me feel better. I try to eat a little bit a lot of times a day even if I’m not hungry. Just a little something. Hope you feel better soon.
