Elevated 15-3 Tumor Marker

Hi! Has anyone ever had their 15-3 tumor marker elevate slightly and it be nothing? I'm 41 March will be my 1 year and my blood work has been on the downward trend since. For the 1st time my 15-3 went from 22 - 25 which marked it as high. My last pet was 11/25 which showed no evidence of active disease and now im FREAKING OUT. TIA

That is minor- breathe well not that bad. When you need to be concerned is when in triple digits

Hi Kim. My mom’s tumor marker got elevated from 12 to 21 for the past 10 months and she had scan last week which was stable with slightly improvement.

And as Sandra said here in US,at least in my mom’s lab the normal range is <32.5❤️❤️❤️

Sandra have you ever heard the word shrink meaning your tomours shrunk. I am still waiting for that word two and a half years later. It is alway stable which is good but just once I would like to hear they shrunk, Theresa

My Mets are throughout my spine......12 tumours. I had radiation on one spot in my back when I was diagnosed for pain management. Also a small spot on my right hip and right femur.I will take stable. Theresa

Mine too. My Mets are every vertebrae in my spine hip sacrum both femurs, shoulder, clavicle, ribs, chest, neck - I had 3 rounds of radiation to my lower back and hip but had to quit because of the side effects. Im covered in Mets so I panicked when my blood work changed.
