Does anyone here get treated at AdventHealth Orlando or Moffitt in Tampa? We may make a move in the future.

I was under the care of Dr. Shah at Orlando Health Breast Cancer Care Institute for two years when I was first diagnosed. The level of care I received there was exceptional. She always arranged my appointments for the same day and everything took no longer than 2 hours. I also was followed very closely by a pharmaceutical oncologist on Dr. Shah's staff who contacted me at least once per week to check to see how I was doing. Under Dr. Shah's care I became NED while taking Kisqali. I had gone to the Moffitt Center and was given Dr. Shah's name by a nurse that worked Moffitt. I am so glad she gave me her name.

I had to move from Orlando about a year ago and unfortunately my level of care is certainly not the same as when I lived there but I am doing well at the moment. I just wanted to let you know about Dr. Shah if you live in the Orlando area.

My oncologist, Dr. Hung Khong, moved to Moffitt a few years ago and her was absolutely stellar! Highly knowledgeable, empathetic, and a wonderful listener. Highly recommended!

I would appreciate info too. May be moving to Florida. My daughter and my son-in-law will be moving to Miami Beach and they want us to go with them.

Hello Mariootsi! I have my daughter and son-in-law in North Miami Beach...and one day in near future we may be moving near her...so I too am interested in knowing about the level of care available in Florida...best of luck!
