Forgive me for having so many questions.

I've had 3 cycles of chemo/H&P. Anyone had negative affect from these treatments on their blood work?

Thank you

Dully

Ha! You must be kidding, Dully. Your treatment will have constant impacts on your bloodwork. All of my counts go up and down---sometimes with no explanation. Don't expect to have normal blood counts ever again.

Just about everything can be explained though. Ask your oncologist or nurses for details. I usually ask about one or two different things each visit, just not to overwhelm them. Eventually, you will know what they are all showing you.

Good luck!

Actually Anne, the reason I asked is because my blood work remain totally normal after 3 cycles of chemo. I have a feeling that my healthy diet and daily 6 km walk contribute to it.

I feel that the importance of both healthy diet and daily physical activities are down played.
