What time of day do you take Ibrance?

I take my Ibrance in the morning after breakfast with all my other medications. Have not had a problem or side effect from it so i guess i keep doing what im doing unless i was told otherwise . Just read that i should not take them from there wrapper till right before i take them so i'll ask at my next appointment what i should do . Anita

I have been on the Ibrance and Letrozole combo since October 2018. I actually asked my oncologist today when it should be taken since it seems that most of us on here take if differently. Her response was whenever you want as long as it is consistent. I switched it up 6 months ago since it made me fel nauseous at times. I take them both together at bed time. My scans are stable no progression so what I am doing works best for me. Hugs 🤗

Also take it at bedtime, I was told at the beginning, if there were going to be side effects,it would be better to sleep thru them

I take mine at night and seems to work for me. I was never told one time was better so whatever you prefer.

I take mine at 6pm everyday. I used to take it in the morning but I experienced much more fatigue. I think it helps me sleep better when I take it at 6pm. I rarely have fatigue now. ❤️🙏❤️

I have taken mine with dinner for 4 years. I take my letrozole in the morning with some vitamins. I try not to eat dinner to late. I will get acid reflux if I do. My goal is to drink a gallon of water a day.

It doesn't matter. I have taken it in the morning for the first 44 rounds b this time I am doing it at dinner time. So far I don't see any difference, but I have just started 45th round due to low counts. Blessings, Hannah

Hi there I'm taking iBrance with Flaslodex shots. I was advised to take them at night before bed to sleep through any symptoms so my alarm clock goes off at 8 pm and down the hatch it goes ! No problems with it thus far.

I take mine with dinner every night, between 6:00 and 7:00. Have never had any issues. I take Letrozole with lunch.

I take my Ibrance between 5-6 pm. I take my Letrozole w/snack 5 hours later between 10 and 11 pm and then go to bed. Taking them together was causing a lot of headaches for me.

I am just starting my 5th cycle today, so maybe it was just me getting used to the new medications. Hopefully you will find what works best for you. ❤ Bev

At night.... I am on 3 /2 and it help me to recover from low count and my ct n mri has been positive. Doctor is happy and he didnt want to do 3/2 but I went w my husband and he said ok.

I take mine (and Letrozole) at around 7pm, which is my dinner time. Check to see which Ibrance you have (capsule or tablet) to see if you need to take it with food. I started on the capsule in the first month, which you need to take with food, and my most consistent meal is dinner. Also, I do think it is with Ibrance rather than Letrozole, but one of them can cause drowsiness according to the documents that come with my meds. For that, I take these at night, a couple hours before I go to bed.
