Xeloda watery eyes
Hi highhopes1,
I don't have experience w/ that drug, but I recalled reading posts here about watery eyes so just searched and see several discussions of this issue...although most seem to be related to other treatments?
While waiting for someone with direct experience to respond to your question, maybe use the search bar, upper right, to find out what other women have done? I think I saw some references to different remedies...
Good luck with it!
Best,
Lynn
Hey there, my eyes are not watering on Xeloda, but it is listed as a common side effect.
For some weird reason, I am just "aware" of my left eye today. I can't say it hurts or itches or even looks funny. If you have ever watched Everybody Loves Raymond, you might remember Marie kissing Raymond's forehead and saying "It's not there yet, but something's coming." I guess this drug is just rough on eyeballs! I hope it resolves for you quickly! Andi
Not on Xeloda but on ibrance. My ophthalmologist told me several yrs ago that I have watery eyes from "dry eye", overcompensation of tear ducts. I tried moisture gtts but they don't seem to make a difference. It's worse outside or in the car with A/C on. I just keep a tissue near by. 😄
Mine are kind of watery. When I had watery eyes with a different treatment, they told me to use eye drops. I’ll try them again.
