Hi 333Stevens,

I don't have any experience with this, I'm sorry....

I will say that I'm "with you" in seeking any advantages we might gain against the cancer.

One of the great things about this community is that different people are researching, maybe learning, and ideally sharing ideas for what might work.

I'm currently engaged with or considering a couple of supplemental (not alternative....) activities and treatments so I'm kind of maxed out on thinking about anything "new" at this time, but I encourage you to research and possibly look for things that might help but won't hurt. And of course check with your oncologist before you add anything new.

I'll also note that the COC protocol that I'll likely start soon does advocate for a keto diet, which seems to be the same for Jim Gordon (If my googling is accurate). I'm vegan because I'm an animal lover, not for health reasons, so I wasn't sure I could actually do keto, but the woman I spoke with at COC says this is perfectly do-able. So, kind of inadvertently, I might be a keto-vegan soon!

Good luck with it! Please keep us posted on any developments!

All the best,

Lynn

Hi I did the keto diet for a while, with only a little meat and I thought it was easy enough and felt quite good on it. I did it through a dietician so that I made sure I was getting all the nutrients I needed and whilst Keto diet has a higher fat component my dietician made sure it was all good fats - so no naughty high fat treats :)

With Jim Gordon's herbs for women one of the herbs is Passionflower and he talks about it stopping bad estrogen but not the good. As it is possible that my estrogen blockers may no longer be working I am wondering if this might help .... more questions for my onc who is fabulous but very main stream, so I am getting ready for the eye roll lol!

Hi,

I don't have any experience with this particular protocol, but I would research it some more and then make a note of the drugs/supplements recommended and check to make sure they do not interfere with your conventional treatment. When I am interested in something new I will check with reputable sources (my local pharmacists, integrative doctor etc) before I start anything. I wish you well with your research!
