Different receptor status' treatment?

A further question to pick you knowledgeable ladies brains about.

In the case of having different receptors, some positive tumors and some negative (think my onc is looking at this as possible since some of my cancer had minimal response to chemo and others progression), what does treatment going forward look like in that scenario?

Thank you, caroline.

Caroline,

What does your oncologist say? I don't know the answer, but do know there are many different treatments and combinations of treatments. Hopefully, someone with real answers will see this. I wish you the best. Blessings, Hannah

Thanks for replying. I did question oncologist but he didn't really respond, I'm guessing he just wants the next scan done to see where we are at rather than speculating. If the scan shows that parts of the cancer are still not under control it looks like I'm back for a second liver biopsy to see whether those 'rogue' lesions are in fact now triple negative.
