Anyone know anything about Nancy? Haven't seen her on this board for so long.

Hi BangorBelle,

First, thank you so much for asking about Nancy...that's so thoughtful and speaks for many, I'm sure!

I have been in touch with her recently and am beyond happy to report that she has had some excellent news! Her most recent scans show that the chemo is working - like really well! The nodes in her chest are shrinking and, even more impressively, her liver mets no longer show up on a PET - Such incredibly good news, which we're all glad to hear, I'm sure!

Nancy's taking a bit of a break from posting on the site while she continues to deal with the anxiety, etc. But I know she values her friends here in the community and greatly appreciates your thoughts and good wishes!

Oh. I too have been worried for Nancy. Even though I haven't been here much myself..... Mainky because little doggie is taking up all my spare time.

Bloody pop a cork alright. It might be a bit too early here at 3pm in Oz on my Sunday afternoon. But at wine o'clock, I'll be cheering you Nancy.

That’s fantastic news! I know Nancy has other struggles with MBC but these latest results are so encouraging. Saving energy to concentrate on healing is exactly the right thing to do right now and it appears to be working.

Good to hear that Nancy is well although I don't know her well! I pop in and out of posting so I am not familiar with everyone as of yet. My name is Nancy too and that seems to warm my heart even more!! LOL

So happy to read the news of Nancy. I had missed the earlier post and, for some reason, thought about Nancy when I went to bed last night. My last memory was her description of a gray day in a NYC hotel awaiting testing.

I searched this morning and discovered this post. Such incredibly good news. It made my heart lift for Nancy and for all of us!!
